Using a Weak Password
Avoid simple names or words you can find in a dictionary, even with numbers tacked on the end. Instead, mix upper- and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols. A password should have at least eight characters. One good technique is to insert numbers or symbols in the middle of a word, such as this variant on the word “houses”: hO27usEs!

Leaving Your Full Birth Date in Your Profile
It’s an ideal target for identity thieves, who could use it to obtain more information about you and potentially gain access to your bank or credit card account. If you’ve already entered a birth date, go to your profile page and click on the Info tab, then on Edit Information. Under the Basic Information section, choose to show only the month and day or no birthday at all.

Overlooking Useful Privacy Controls
For almost everything in your Facebook profile, you can limit access to only your friends, friends of friends, or yourself. Restrict access to photos, birth date, religious views, and family information, among other things. You can give only certain people or groups access to items such as photos, or block particular people from seeing them. Consider leaving out contact info, such as phone number and address, since you probably don’t want anyone to have access to that information anyway.

Posting Your Child’s Name in a Caption
Don’t use a child’s name in photo tags or captions. If someone else does, delete it by clicking on Remove Tag. If your child isn’t on Facebook and someone includes his or her name in a caption, ask that person to remove the name.

Mentioning That You’ll Be Away From Home
That’s like putting a “no one’s home” sign on your door. Wait until you get home to tell everyone how awesome your vacation was and be vague about the date of any trip.

Letting Search Engines Find You
To help prevent strangers from accessing your page, go to the Search section of Facebook’s privacy controls and select Only Friends for Facebook search results. Be sure the box for public search results isn’t checked.

Permitting Youngsters to Use Facebook Unsupervised
Facebook limits its members to ages 13 and over, but children younger than that do use it. If you have a young child or teenager on Facebook, the best way to provide oversight is to become one of their online friends. Use your e-mail address as the contact for their account so that you receive their notifications and monitor their activities. “What they think is nothing can actually be pretty serious,” says Charles Pavelites, a supervisory special agent at the Internet Crime Complaint Center. For example, a child who posts the comment “Mom will be home soon, I need to do the dishes” every day at the same time is revealing too much about the parents’ regular comings and goings.

Previous: Hi Miss! Do you have a Credit Card?

I was scribbling different ideas in my mind on how the game would be like. It was very obvious that Omni was using his marketing technique on me or rather a psychological thing. He was like.. setting my mind that I could win the game and I should never forget his name, that I should never forget a gay like him. Like, I should give something back to him if I happen to be the winner. Duh. What really made me laugh was the people in their office. They kept on telling me that I look so pretty, that I look like 18 despite the fact that I’m already 22, that I look like an actress and all kinds of praises. Oh yeah right. They were trying to make me feel nice. Go work your lies to your grandmother! They were trying to flatter me.

I thought the presentation would be quick. My 45 minutes started when I was inside their room. I felt like I stayed there forever! The presentation of their SC – Like I care what it means – bored me! I was actually telling lies because I know where it would lead me: invest on something that they would offer after the presentation. So much talk. Blah blah blah… I wasn’t listening anymore…blah blah blah…. all I wanted is to get it done as soon as possible. Blah blah blah… I wanted to waste the agent’s time that’s why I stayed. There was something evil on me too that time. I agreed on some of the agent’s questions, etc, etc. I thought I would get away with it, but unexpectedly, when Bruha (not the agent’s real name) asked me to sign an agreement that I’m allowing them to use my debit card, I was suddenly awake! What the heck? What are you talking about?! I shouted at my mind. Where did this nonsense had gone, huh? And to think, Bruha wanted me to write P9,800++ cash on the agreement. This made me mad!

Why would I give you that amount of money? What is this? A scam?! I thought I would only play a game?!

To make myself safe from my lies, I told her, maybe I should ask my mother first before signing any agreement. I was still kind to her! If I’m not the Carol I knew, if I am a different person, I would just walk  away and probably said something bad at her because they were trying to get my money.

I really hate that moment! She was so eager to let me sign the agreement because she assured me, my debit card would be declined if they would try to use it because I only have P3,000 credit limit (which is one of the lies I told her). She told me something about a documentation. Signing the agreement would only be for their documentation. I really couldn’t make my self agreement with her because we are already talking about money. She even volunteered to check my available balance to make sure I only have 3,000. Ok. I agreed. I used the moment to think of more excuses. When she came back, I told her I’m so sorry I will not sign anything. I didn’t want to spend any money. Of course, she knew how much my available balance was, so I just acted like I didn’t know it climbed up.

I really told her I would not sign anything, but when she showed me a flyer about a Medical Card, I got an idea to avail it if that would be my escape in that room. I wasn’t listening to her at all before she started offering me this. I was so stupid, right? And it was pretty annoying too! After I signed up for their so called Medical Card, Ms. Bruha announced to everybody that I was the newest member. Every body approached me and shook my hands! Congratulations! Congratulations! Duhh!! Congrats your face!… (Haha! Ok. I’m already being rude here.) ^^

The Medical Card only cost, P385. What a sweet escape! >:(

The Bruha showed me how to use it of course. It’s only like a reimbursement for the medical expenses of my beneficiary.

I am not closing my mind for these kinds but please, oh please people. Why do you have to push others if they don’t want to buy your stuff? Omni told me he will have a commission because he had me sent to their office. So, they earned an amount of money that instant! I don’t like this business. I WILL not like this business at all. I wonder how many people they had tried to fool.

I got my gift afterwards, at last! They let me choose from a wall clock, a big blue bag and an inflatable pillow. I choose the pillow.

I also get to participate to the raffle draw (for the $10,000 cash only, not for the car).  I dropped the two coupons that they gave me on the drop box in their reception room. Once again, the agents told me, one of their guys had a crush on me. Come on guys, THE GAME IS OVER! You don’t have to tell that to me now! You got want you wanted!

So, that’s how it’s going to be if you will encounter and let your self be fooled by them. They’ll tell you:

  • You can win the stuff that they’ll present
  • You have a free gift

but before you can have those, you’ll have to buy something from them first. What a slick business.

I was really mad. I was holding the pillow that they gave me. It was like, I bought the pillow for P385. I wouldn’t stand to see it sitting on my bed after what happened. So, I intentional left the pillow on the tricycle seat on my way home. I don’t need your Pillow.

>:(

Hi Miss! Do you have a Credit Card?

I hate them! I also hate myself because I allowed them to fool me!

It was one of those afternoon weekdays when I decided to go to a mall to check out a shop that makes invitations. My visit to the shop was pretty short actually. The time I spent on the way was the longest. My travel time wouldn’t be long if I wasn’t stuck in a traffic. In any ways, that was my main reason for visiting the mall, to check out Card Prints‘, the invitation maker, samples. It only lasted for few minutes. I only had few questions to the store person about their rates, also if they would give us a discount if the invitation’s layout will be from us, etc and etc. I couldn’t finalize everything yet because we still have to make sure of our guests list plus the opinion of my one person. So, I asked for their contact details and we’ll call them if everything is set.

Here I gone now. I wondered what to do after that. It was too early to go home and I was still tired to travel again. I thought of checking out the new clothes in the department store, check out the price of a computer headset and finally, I thought of buying something to eat on my way home. I wasn’t enjoying anymore. There was nothing much to do in the mall because I already shopped for my new sandals and some small stuffs the other week.. plus, also the fact that I was alone in the moment. So, the best option was to go home and relax… or maybe surf the internet afterwards. ^^

“Hi Miss! I just want to ask a question, do you have a credit card?,” asked a man as I pass a scattered group of people who dressed formally. I know, I know. We usually avoid these kind of people in the mall because for sure, they’ll offer you something to buy or..something to avail.. or whatsoever.

You know what? I just suddenly found myself sitting on their space’s desk discussing about a cash price and a car that they would give away in a game! From what I can recall, they told me, they have a gift for me because I am a credit card holder and that they we’re really glad about it. Now, I was so eager to play the game that one of them were discussing me about. I would just name this person as Omni — I will still be kind to the persons and the company I met and knew. I will not reveal their real names or identity as the primary purpose of this blog write-up  is to share what I experienced and not to show any disruption. — Before Omni lead me to their office on the far end of the mall’s east wing, he reminded that I should attend their company introduction first and he was only giving me 45 minutes to play.

Hints of the Changes

Just like what I said in my previous posts, there are new things about yours truly. First of, I changed my theme! It was from a fence with green grass theme to a clean newspaper like one – a free theme from wordpress. Second change: Something that I still can’t talk to you about, but sure is making me happy. Third change: a thing that makes me practice and apply what I’ve learned over the year.

To be continued!

Tears roll down my eyes as I look at the picture of couples dressed in their best.. Gowns, Coat and Tie. I wonder if some of them tend to cry as they walk down the red carpeted aisle..

The pictures were so inspiring. I never dreamed of something like it but, y’know, you can only be married once and it’s not bad to dream of something magical on your wedding day..

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL NEWLY WEDS! ^^

I’ve been busy for the past few weeks. Seems like I will never have a new blog post unless I compose it at midnight.

It has been a great week, i think. :)

There surely is a start of something new in my story. I will tell you about these when I get a chance to sit for a while in front of my PC. I have a lot to share with you, I promise. :)

Improper Domain Name Redirect

Hi, I received an email about improper domain name redirect and I think it could be helpful for you too. Please read the article below.

**

Improper URL Redirect

Improper Domain Name Redirect

Can my site rank better without a keyword in the domain name at all? Absolutely.

I get questions (or assumptions) like this regularly. Actually, there are many other things going on behind the scenes that impact rank, and the domain name is rarely a significant factor.

Let’s say your website has been out there for 6 months or more and you assume, for whatever reason, that you can get a higher search engine ranking if you were using a keyword in your domain name instead of the one you have. In addition to your company web domain, maindomain.com, you rush to purchase keyword1.com, keyword2.com and keyword3.com.

From Google’s perspective, there is both a good way and a detrimental way to assign these additional domain names to your site. This can cause a much greater problem in terms of organic ranking if you get it wrong in terms of duplicate content and trust. Have you ever heard of duplicate content? Which domain name does Google have more history and trust with, your current domain name or one you just bought?

Common methods webmasters use to point multiple domain names to your web server include:

  • Domain Mirroring/Masking
  • Domain Cloaking
  • Domain Alias/URL Alias
  • Domain Redirecting

Domain mirroring/masking is sometimes called a pointer domain. It looks like it is the domain name when it is used in a browser, but it is simply a mask overlaying the real domain name and its content. When someone types in www.domain.com, it’s really forwarding to domain.blogspot.com without the address changing in the address bar. The user continues to see www.domain.com in the address bar, although the site and its contents are really from domain.blogspot.com.

Domain cloaking uses an iframe or embedded frameset to display the content of another site.

Domain redirecting (also called URL redirecting) requires all traffic that is sent through the new domain name to be redirected to the main domain name. This can also be a domain redirected to a subdirectory of the main domain, or multiple domains redirected to a complex URL. This is different from domain mirroring/masking and domain cloaking because, when a user types in www.domain.com, they end up on www.maindomain.com and the address changes appropriately in the address bar.

But, let’s back up a second and look at the issues you must consider before making this decision.

  1. To limit confusion, it’s better to change the brand (or company) name to better reflect the keyword-rich domain name. This could be as simple as recreating the company logo, but you might consult your customer base first
  2. The technical procedure of redirecting domain names must be done so that the search engines do not get confused about what you are trying to do. Otherwise, you risk tripping a duplicate content filter, which would force Google to accept only one domain with that content (explained below). But the biggest risk is setting off an alarm at Google that you are trying to trick them to get a better rank.

Just for fun, let’s say you’ve gone through the trouble of changing the company name to reflect your new keyword-rich domain. Now it’s time to get technical.

If you use any method other than domain redirecting, you are going to be disappointed with your search rank. Domain mirroring, masking, cloaking and aliases confuse search engines because they see the same content under a different domain name. Google then selects one of the domain names to display that content and leaves the others out of the search results. Google chooses for you – since you are not aware of how to manage your duplicate content issues – and no one knows which domain name Google will choose. You could be saying “bye-bye” to all the hard-earned link juice pointed at your main domain name.

The more serious issue with domain mirroring/masking is the probability that Google suspects you are trying to manipulate search rank by suddenly using keywords in additional domain names. The result is either loss of whatever good ranking you did have or your site is banned from Google altogether. Ouch!

This is precisely what happened with a client. Despite my warnings, but thinking they might change the company name eventually, they bought additional keyword-rich domain names and had the webmaster point them at their server (using domain masking). Within a couple weeks Google dropped their domain ranking across the board, but did not ban them.

Of course they came to me with their issue. I gently reminded them about how this should have been done, redirected the domain names properly (using a 301 redirect) and asked them to consult me next time they’re considering a marketing or technical decision regarding the website. It took about 6 weeks – a long and painful 6 weeks – for Google to restore their good rank again.

When a company acquires additional domain names, they should be permanently redirected to the main domain name – the one, central location on the web for all of the company’s or brand’s content.

Redirecting a domain name should be handled differently depending on the type of server hosting your site (Apache or Windows), how much control you have over that server (hosted on a shared or dedicated server) and the purpose of the redirected domain name.

It’s been a while since I had a new post. It’s actually 12:50 AM as I write this. I just want to take notes of the stuff that I want to do… what I want to experience with regards to Web Development..

Do you also had a feeling that you want to do different stuff all at once? Gosh, I’m still young. I still have time to study all of it, but when a certain situation consistently demands that I need to know those, I’m already alarmed. I know this post might sound confusing.. Don’t know what my point really is.. All I wanna do know is to be a super genius girl… or to be  a Ms. Know-it-All at selected times.. I.. guess I’ll continue this post some other time.. Sounds crap right?

I’ll sign off today.. and.. try to act on those things ahead as fast as possible… As in… lightning speed fast!! (devil smiley) hehe.

Mad and No Air Dance Interpretation

I’ve always wanted to dance on stage where you’ll hear people clap, scream your name because of the exceptional talent. I guess God has other plans on me… I can dance, but not like these people in the videos. I can dance, but I bet you wouldn’t want to watch. Haha. :)

I chose to post the 2 videos below, because, first, I like these songs. Mad by Ne-Yo and No Air by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown. Second, I love the way the dancers interpreted the songs. I felt like sharing it more. I saw it in facebook first and I wanted this “sharing” thing to reach more people like you (who currently reads this post).

I hope you’ll be inspired by their interpretation. Feel the intensity of love and strengthen the message of the songs..

Enjoy watching. :)

Pinoy Big Brother Audition: First Judgement

“Who was the last person you  spoke with last night?,” was the question one of the directors asked. Oh gosh, it was different. “Ok. That’s easy,” I thought to myself.

The microphone was passed on to the guy at right of the line and told them his answer. The next one to answer was Mhel, the guy which I was really comfortable conversing with in our line earlier. He told the directors that the last person he spoke with was his mother. They talked about his future, the things they like to achieve, etc, etc. I can’t really remember the rest of his answer.

When it was turn, I told them the last person I spoke with was Jesus (I know some can’t consider him a person ‘coz he’s a God), but I still decided to continue. I told him about me, participating in this audition. “If it’s not for me, it would be fine. No hard feelings,” with a matching smile on my face. :)  While I was answering their question, I noticed the director who asked the question continuously nodded his head as if he wanted me to finish my statement fast! I guess I told them so much that they wanted me to shut up and let the next one answer. By that time,  I thanked them and passed the mic on guy next to me.

It was.. weird. Haha. I felt weird. Why didn’t I just told them who it was and be done with it. So, all of us on the stage answered like that: Told them who and explained what was the topic of the conversation.

After waiting for the last participant to finish, I looked at the papers around the directors. It was our application forms. Bundles of ‘em. They looked at our picture while we answered their question. I also noticed direct Loren Dyogi standing behind the other two directors, crossed arms. He was wearing a blue jacket. Few staffs of the reality show also wore jackets. I wondered why. It wasn’t cold.

So, the last guy in our batch was finished. We stood there after few seconds and the director who asked the question thanked us for participating. We went down the stage and proceeded to the exit where a Security Guard was standing. We waited for their Queue on what should we do next.

The guard looked at a person behind us and nodded his head. After that, he asked us to remove our numbers (It was a yellow neon colored sticker that we put on our shirts which we also had to carry around even during lunch time).  That made us wonder. Was it over?

Yes. We think it was over because while we waited in our seats behind the division of the stage, we saw random people go out with their numbers on, smiling, happy. We guessed they got to the next level. Congratulations!

We are not sure but we still have unanswered questions in our minds. Will they call us for another audition? Hmm.. We didn’t think so. This was like a one-day-hiring process like most of the call centers. Even though, I felt good. At least I tried! I didn’t lost anything.

I walked out of the ladies room to meet my boyfriend. It was really funny, I almost laugh out loud! What an experience.

He led me to the mall’s exit and we waved goodbye to the mall. Goodbye SM…

Goodbye PBB.. :)

Philippine storm, Ondoy, leaves 75 dead and missing

ondoyMANILA, Philippines – Rescuers plucked bodies from muddy floodwaters and scrambled to save drenched survivors on rooftops Sunday after a tropical storm tore through the northern Philippines and left 75 people dead or missing in the region’s worst flooding in more than four decades.

The government declared a “state of calamity” in metropolitan Manila and 25 storm-hit provinces, allowing officials to utilize emergency funds for relief and rescue, Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro said. Army troops, police and civilian volunteers have rescued more than 5,100 people.

Tropical Storm Ketsana roared across the northern Philippines near Manila on Saturday, dumping more than a month’s worth of rain in just 12 hours. The resulting landslides and flooding have left at least 52 people dead and 23 others missing, Teodoro said.

Military chief Gen. Victor Ibrado, accompanied by journalists, flew over several suburban Manila towns Sunday on board air force helicopters to witness the harrowing sight of drenched survivors still marooned on top of half-submerged passenger buses and rooftops. Some dangerously clung on high-voltage power lines while others plodded through waist-high flood waters, TV footage showed.

Man hacks parents dead, cooks dad’s head

MANILA, Philippines — A mentally ill man hacked to death his parents and cooked the severed head of his father early Tuesday in Capiz province, police said.

Village official Federico dela Vega and his wife Edita were hammered and hacked by their 25-year-old son Fernan inside their home in the village of Linampungan, Pontevedra town at around 7 a.m., a police report said.

Federico was beheaded and his severed head cooked by his mentally deranged son, police said.

He even seasoned the cut head with salt and other seasonings, police said.

Police found the body of Edita lying inside their home early morning, her head broken, while Federico’s headless body was found on the kitchen floor.

After the neighbors were alerted of the incident, they reportedly mobbed Fernan, and police had to intervene, bringing the suspect into their custody.

Recovered from the scene were a 17-inch axe, a 12-inch knife, and a 20-inch bolo.

Kayne West Gave a Personal Apology to Taylor Swift

Kayne West Apologized to Taylor SwiftNEW YORK – It looks like Kanye West has finally given a personal apology to Taylor Swift. Representatives from “The View” say West called the country sensation after her appearance on Tuesday’s show. During the broadcast, the 19-year-old singer said West had yet to contact her to apologize for hijacking her acceptance speech on the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

“He has not personally reached out or anything but if he wanted to say hi (I would),” said Swift.

After Swift’s comments, West called her and the two spoke, according to a statement from “The View.”

“After the show he spoke personally to the country music superstar via telephone and has apologized to the 19-year-old singer. She has accepted Mr. West’s apology. The contents of the phone call are to remain private,” it read.

Afterward, Swift told ABC News Radio: “He was very sincere in his apology and I accepted that apology.”

Pinoy Big Brother Audition: Participants

The line of participants grew longer as time goes by. I couldn’t make my self not to think of what would happen if I reached the end of the it. Questions like, will they ask what my talent is? Should I speak english when asked so they would be impressed? Will the audition be in a room or on a stage in front of the public’s speculating eye? I’m glad my boyfriend was with me, that I had someone to talk to. He never left me until the line were moved to the mall’s west wing. He went inside to relax a little since he had been standing for few hours. I insisted to stay in the line.

The great thing about this event was I got to meet new friends which had the same hope as did: to be a housemate. We even wished all of us would be accepted so it won’t be too hard to adjust inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. We chatted while we waited, exchanged thoughts on why we wanted to join, etc.

Finally, around 12 or 1 pm, we made it to the mall’s 3rd floor where the stage was fixated. We all started to get really, really, really nervous when it was our turn to climb up.  There was a camera man taking each participants’ head shots which was displayed on the screen in front of three directors. We listened carefully to their question. It was about the Broadband issue way back that year. We also tried to answer that to our selves but I couldn’t find mine! I wasn’t aware of what was happening with the world. Haha. I told my self, if that same question would be asked, I’ll tell them honestly what I know. ZEro.

Again, we were all nervous. Conscious enough about the way we look. This was it. Judgement time!

Kayne West Ruined Taylor Swift’s Moment in MTV VMAs 2009

Kanye West Ruined Taylor Swift's Moment in the MTV VMAs 2009Kayne West delivered an outburst in the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards at the expense of country and pop sweethear, Taylor Swift.

If you can recall, West flipped out after losing the VMAs, the Grammy, the American Music Awards and more from way back. This time, his complain was on Beyonce’s behalf because the wrong person had been awarded a trophy.

Beyonce was nominated for best female video for “Single Ladies” but was bested by Swift. The 19-year-old best selling artist of year outside of Michael Jackson was giddy when she won for her clip, “You Belong With Me”. She said, “I always wondered what it would be like to maybe win one of these someday, but never actually thought it would happen.”

Kayne dishes Taylor's MomentBut West ruined her moment when he jumped on stage.

“Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’m gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” he said, as a shocked Beyonce looked on and the crowd began to boo West.

New Domain

Ok. I can’t wait for the colorfulstories.com backorder to be successful so I registered a new domain instead. hercolofulstories.com will be my temporary domain name for a year because colorfulstories.com will be available (hopefully) by next year, May 2010. I actually didn’t want the new domain, hercolorfulstories.com bacause it sounds like I own every stories or every posts in this blog. It’s like they are my stories, only focused on me. That’s not what I want for this blog.. I shouldn’t have choosen the domain in the first place. Anyways, I’m not in a hurry. Next step I need to do is to host this blog somewhere. GoDaddy I guess? But.. I can’t do it now. I guess I used up all my credit balance. Haha!

Thanks for the comments on My Own Domain, Own Blog Design and Own Feelings. I will definitely change the way my blog looks once I get all things in place. Will also make it SEO Friendly blog by next year once I get that colorfulstories.com domain. I’m not in a hurry. I have my whole life to work on this project. Haha.

:)

My Own Domain, Own Blog Design and Own Feelings

I backordered colorfulstories.com from GoDaddy.com today. Hope it will be successful! I have lots of plans for my blog. I want it to have my own design.. You know, manage everything, make it pass the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) standards, be able to include music in my posts, videos, etc.

While I was studying on how to have my own website, I came across WordPress Fortunes. It is a site that offers a step-by-step blogging tutorials for beginners. It was interesting. It promises members that they would be a WordPress Master in 3 Days. Check-out its dedicated page for information if you’re quite curious: WordPress Fortunes Information. As you read through that information, you’ll feel a certain urge to sign-up because of the promising videos and tools that they would present. This isn’t free of cost! You need to be a member and give out $47. Too bad. I think this isn’t the right time for me to spend that money yet. I’ll wait for my back order to be successfull first so I can change this blog’s domain. No .wordpress anymore.. ^^

Ok. I’ll make this post short. Need to study how to set-up a subdomain for my boss. (sigh) But y’know what, before I end this, I want to get this feeling out of me. I’m the acting webmaster in my current work but I feel useless sometimes. I need to know lots of things to be successfull in this field! Like for example, we are using Umbraco as our websites’ back-end but its installation isn’t clear to me yet. I hope I was oriented on how to start it at first, but I guess I need to study this on my own. My first boss, which is the Director and like our IT Manager at the same time, is very busy to teach me. So now, my other boss, wanted me to get things done on my own rather than having my first boss there all the time. I know he was right. I always felt his disappointment or distatisfaction everytime I had tasks from him which wasn’t done the soonest time possible. It was my bad. Yesterday, he, my second boss, gave me a little pep talk about this learn-on-your-own thing. He gave me an assignment this weekend about setting-up a subdomain. How can I do that? Would it be connected with changing a settings in Umbraco? Would I need to access our server? I already know the answer:  START STUDYING.

Pinoy Big Brother Audition: Preparation and Venue

I was already informed before ABS-CBN aired the audition for Pinoy Big Brother Season 3 in the television. I searched its schedule over the Internet. I asked my parents’ permission if I can join the said reality show and they gladly agreed. They said, they’ll get to see my attitudes and behaviors towards other people, etc, etc. Though I can’t really say if they were excited for me, yet they supported me. “Go if you like to go. No prob.” :)

I didn’t prepare much before the audition. I know some people did. I just went to a photo studio and had my portrait and whole body shot, got all the necessary requirements like photocopy of birth certificate, brown envelop and a pen (the most important thing).

The audition was held in SM Sucat so I really needed someone who can be with me. I was not familiar in Sucat so I had to tag my boyfriend along. As we got off the jeepney, we immediately saw a line starting to build up in-front of the mall. “Whoa,” was my immediate response. At that early time, 7am, I was number 1500++ participant. I wonder what time did those aspiring “housemates” came. So much people was there. We couldn’t find which was the end of the line. It was good enough to see an Event Marshal watching out for people like us. He told us to get a form and fall in the line in-front of  a long table near the mall’s main entrance.

Pinoy Big Brother Audition

PBB3I really laugh each time I remember this! It was, I think, year 2007 when I tried to audition for Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Season 3. My boyfriend and I were in the venue early in the morning and got to the end of the line almost late in the afternoon. I can’t remember the exact time I was done though. That was really an unforgettable experience. Please don’t expect anything! I never get in.  I don’t have the X-Factor that each actress, models or the public icon people have. :) I just tried my luck.

Before the audition date came in, I told my family not to spoil it to anybody. I didn’t wanted anyone know about me trying to take the first step of the Pinoy Big Brother competition. I’m just over with it that’s why you’re reading this post now…

Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up (or the Season 3) will be aired in the Philippines on October 4, 2009, Sunday. I’m excited to see the new house mates. I might recognize one of them. :)
