I hate them! I also hate myself because I allowed them to fool me!
It was one of those afternoon weekdays when I decided to go to a mall to check out a shop that makes invitations. My visit to the shop was pretty short actually. The time I spent on the way was the longest. My travel time wouldn’t be long if I wasn’t stuck in a traffic. In any ways, that was my main reason for visiting the mall, to check out Card Prints‘, the invitation maker, samples. It only lasted for few minutes. I only had few questions to the store person about their rates, also if they would give us a discount if the invitation’s layout will be from us, etc and etc. I couldn’t finalize everything yet because we still have to make sure of our guests list plus the opinion of my one person. So, I asked for their contact details and we’ll call them if everything is set.
Here I gone now. I wondered what to do after that. It was too early to go home and I was still tired to travel again. I thought of checking out the new clothes in the department store, check out the price of a computer headset and finally, I thought of buying something to eat on my way home. I wasn’t enjoying anymore. There was nothing much to do in the mall because I already shopped for my new sandals and some small stuffs the other week.. plus, also the fact that I was alone in the moment. So, the best option was to go home and relax… or maybe surf the internet afterwards. ^^
“Hi Miss! I just want to ask a question, do you have a credit card?,” asked a man as I pass a scattered group of people who dressed formally. I know, I know. We usually avoid these kind of people in the mall because for sure, they’ll offer you something to buy or..something to avail.. or whatsoever.
You know what? I just suddenly found myself sitting on their space’s desk discussing about a cash price and a car that they would give away in a game! From what I can recall, they told me, they have a gift for me because I am a credit card holder and that they we’re really glad about it. Now, I was so eager to play the game that one of them were discussing me about. I would just name this person as Omni — I will still be kind to the persons and the company I met and knew. I will not reveal their real names or identity as the primary purpose of this blog write-up is to share what I experienced and not to show any disruption. — Before Omni lead me to their office on the far end of the mall’s east wing, he reminded that I should attend their company introduction first and he was only giving me 45 minutes to play.
